Power Consumption Hoo-ha!

One thing I don’t see to be covered enough is the fact that more than half of Kuwait’s population isn’t even Kuwaiti.

Yet, one prominent noise seems to be that Kuwaitis have so many luxuries. Um. Yeah. It’s our country. One of the many valid reasons that I need to stand up for myself in my homeland (ironic) is because everyone who isn’t Kuwaiti keeps saying that we live such a luxurious lifestyle. What is conveniently left out of that trail of thought is that we’re not even a majority, and that these costs, and pressures on utilities is the product of an overpopulated country that is not equipped, and does not seem to want to be equipped to look after itself.

The one tame thing I can say, to the Kuwaitis in power who prioritize everyone else except the people they swore to protect when they sought the positions they are in now, is that, hey, we have a lot non-Kuwaitis inside of Kuwait. Surely you’ll prioritize them.

I’m a hardcore fan of the endless wit exercised in being well-aware that the power plant (is there even more than one, and if so, why do they all suck?) would need to be maintained and kept up to date with regards to the ever-growing population.
