Preview – Twisted Metal

If you’ve ever owned a PlayStation, you’ve at least heard of the Twisted Metal series. The entire game can be summarized very plainly: vehicle gladiators fighting to the death. How they go about fighting, is through the use of bullets, napalm, electricity, rockets, Gatling guns (and this is the standard weapon), and more. Originally, these vehicles were limited to cars and motorcycles only. This 2011 release introduces helicopters as an option to destruction.

While I Work on Those Previews…

http://www.formspring.me/herolike

I’ll get cracking on some E3 research now.

…Mmhmhmm!

I’m gorgeous. Go ahead and click, I’ve decided that I’m going to love all my flaws.

Proper preview of the following games to come, God-willing:

  1. Twisted Metal - I’m going to unfairly hope that this one takes me back to the chaotic, hilarious game play where cars did an awesome job of paying homage to firecrackers.
  2. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood – I actually tried replaying AC2 all through last night, and was enjoying myself up until I remembered how stupid the storyline was. I don’t like aliens. How lazy are you?
  3. Final Fantasy: Versus XIII – I’m still bitter. I won’t be nice. Kill your writers, give raises to your character designers. Lightning. <3
  4. Front Mission Evolved - I don’t like robots but I saw some gameplay, and being the thoughtful, questioning person I am–itlookssogood.
  5. InFamous 2 – I don’t know much about this yet, except that it has big shoes to fill.
  6. Tomb Raider 9 – Eh. Concept art is making me uncomfortable… Really, though, don’t mess with the way she looks anymore, please. I want a body like that.
  7. Enslaved – Reminds me of Heavenly Sword a lot. Can’t say I like the brute meets delicate flower premise, nor the exaggerated voice acting though. …If the gaming’s fine, then I will allow it. Because these people spend millions just to hear what I have to say.

…And no disrespect to Ms. Croft, but, where’s this quarter’s Lightning?

Edit-

This quarter’s Lightning is-Please be advised that a noticeable taste of blood is not part of any test protocol but is an unintended side effect of the Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grid, which may, in semi-rare cases, emancipate dental fillings, crowns, tooth enamel, and teeth.

We got the funk!

It would worry me more if the people I am consistently offending were smart at all, or had something productive to share.

Yet, all I seem to be running into is the Colossal Wall of Stupid, made only formidable by the fact that it’s density makes it so compact, so impenetrable. What I am curious about is whether this collective giant of simplicity is really so big that encountering it is an inevitability, or if I withhold enough weakness to keep gravitating towards it.

The sheer unified state of it allows it to expand further beyond what I am willing to negotiate with. I’m not really sure what I can do about it anymore. Resistance is a constant, though.

Woe is I.

I am aware of  how generally unfit as well as unorthodox my mindset is, but for consistency’s sake I’d love to be at least be aware of equally impatient, ridiculously dorky people who could use to stop thinking once in a while and be just fine with the looming Colossal Wall of Stupid.

No harm in proving myself wrong, though. Let it be my mission.

How Exciting I am #011

New Layout

Let’s see if I have the patience to keep this layout for more than three days.

…And So I wait.

I wish I could offer a blurb that serves as a stubborn effort at life.

The truth is that it’s been calm four (for-I’ve been on an insane pun spree lately) days since (before) Ramadan began. I haven’t been getting much gaming done due to it simply being inconvenient as per my current living situation, but I have been reading. I’ve done a decent job reading through Wicked. Elphaba’s still a baby, where I am.

Waiting is what I am doing these days. I’ve been doing a lot of it. It’s frustrating because I can’t help but associate it with wasting time. Realistically speaking, wasting time is a fair definition for waiting. At what point did I agree to this trade, I wonder? My consent, I’m sure.

Gym – Ramadan Edition: Audiobook Collection

Most traces of the flu are gone, my blister has long since healed. Tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan, and it is my plan to take advantage of every minute! I’ll head to the gym every morning at seven or eight, and stay for an hour (or more, hopefully) and get back home. I guess it’d be a good time to do some art research as well.

Since I will not be listening to music at the gym for now on, these are the audiobooks I want to listen to every day while there:
